A finish to share
Hi everyone!
I have been busy lately, but I'm back :) During this time I have celebrated my 26th birthday, had a trip to Latvia & (of course :) did some stitching :
First of all I would like to share with you my latest finish:
"Hydrangea" (Zolotoe Runo)
Size: 23 x 33 cm / 9' x 13'
Colours: 33
Fabric: 18 count cream Zweigart Aida
Floss: Madeira (1 over 1)

And this is a framed "Janlynn" birth announcement which has been presented to my sister during my trip to Latvia at the end of October.
P.S. Sorry for the shadows ;)
I think that's all for today. Next time hopefully I'll be able to show some progress on my current WIP.

Few finishes & a lovely giveaway prize
Few weeks ago I won Theresa's blogoversary giveaway. Today the parcel finally arrived :))) Look what an amazing package she made: the gorgeous Shepherd’s Bush “August” pinkeep, beautiful postcard, ribbon, rick rack, magnetic list pod & a lovely fragrant soap. This is such a wonderful gift!!! Theresa, thank you for your kindness and generousity :)

Now I'd like to show you few small finishes I plan to use to make Christmas cards.

I have used few patters from Italian magazine "Profilo", Lizzie Kate design from 12 Christmas Blessings & a freebie from Barbara Ana.
And last but not least a paper note box I made for an exchange organized by the Latvian cross stitch forum.
Take care and have a great week :)

New stash & a small finish
Hi ladies! Finally the heat is over, today it's only 22 degrees Celsius / 71.6 degrees Fahrenheit. I couldn' be more happy :)
Did the usual Saturday shopping, mostly bought some stuff for the pizza. I don't know how it comes, but now Saturdays are officially dedicated to pizza. We do the big baking tray to be sure it's enough for at least 2 meals. So we avoid spending too much time in the kitchen. Instead of that we go out or just relax :)
By the way, I have a small finish to share. Of course it's another biscornu. I think I became addicted :)

Design: Au pays des biscornus
Fabric: 25ct Lugana
Floss: Profilo

Floss: Profilo
P.S. Initially it was 25 ct Antique White Lugana, but I dyed it with onion skins.
And last but not least... I bought some new fabrics from Debbie Cripps. They were on sale, so I just couldn't stop myself :)

I bought three 50cm x 45cm cut pieces of White Cashel Linen (28 ct) & Light Green/Light Blue Jobelan (28 ct) and a pack of mini colorful buttons.
I am very much satisfied by their service, the only negative thigs is a delivery cost- £3.60 for the orders in Europe. Some other shops charge a bit less: £2.00 - 3.25 (depending on weight & the total sum).
I think that's all for today. And thanks to all those of you who left so lovely comments on my previous posts. You are really way too sweet :)
Until next time, happy stitching!

Today is my blogoversary!
I started this blog one year ago today. It has grown and changed a lot. I have been through some rough & happy times, but the most important - I have met so many wonderful people, many of who I can consider my friends, even though we have never met beyond a computer screen. I want to thank each and every one of you who read, who take a moment to leave a comment, send me an email or simply pass by to say hello. THANK YOU :)
By the way, I've been given another award on my blog. Pokua, thank you for this lovely Blog Award, I am truly honored!

Now I have to pass this to 8 other blogger friends. Here is my list:
1. Anna
2. Theresa
3. Rita
4. Dzintra
5. Mylene
6. Cindy F
7. Mel
8. Laura
And now just a quick pic to show the progress on my "Hydrangea".
